Volta Polska, which is developing an energy hub in the municipality of Łobżenica, once again supported the Alojzy Graj Run. This commitment shows that the company links the energy transition with active local engagement. Volta Polska invites everyone to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the run in 2027.
The 29th Alojzy Graj Run was held in Łobżenica on 24 May 2026 to commemorate Alojzy Graj, a Polish Olympian who competed in the 1952 Helsinki Games. For nearly three decades, this event has been a highlight in the municipality’s cultural calendar, bringing residents together around values such as perseverance and pushing their personal limits. As a company closely connected to Łobżenica, Volta Polska proudly supported this year’s edition, promoting a healthy lifestyle and respect for local history.
The company’s involvement in the run is a testament to its role as the main investor and co-initiator of the planned renewable energy installations in the region. The energy hub being developed will form the basis of the Łobżenica Economic Zone (ŁSE) and the bio agri food cluster. This partnership is part of Volta Polska’s strategy, which sees the energy transition go hand in hand with support for local initiatives.
“We are honoured to support the 29th Alojzy Graj Run, which reflects our commitment to community engagement beyond business. As we develop our projects, we are focused on strengthening the region’s economic and social potential in a sustainable way. We have been part of this community for years, and we expect the green transition to deliver tangible benefits for residents,” adds Stéphane Rauber, Managing Partner at Volta Polska.
