On Friday, September 12, 2025, Lodz Airport – Poland’s oldest continuously operating airport established in 1925 – celebrated its centennial anniversary with a prestigious gala attended by local authorities representatives, aviation industry leaders, and strategic business partners. Volta Polska had the honor of serving as an official sponsor of this landmark event, reinforcing its role as a reliable investment partner in the renewable energy sector.
The sponsorship reflects Volta Polska’s strategic involvement in critical infrastructure decarbonization projects across Poland. The company is currently developing a long-term photovoltaic farm project of significant capacity at Lodz Airport, which forms part of Volta Group’s investment portfolio managing over 1 000 renewable energy installations globally.
As part of Volta Group, Volta Polska benefits from a solid capital structure enabling long-term investment projects in various technologies such as solar, wind or battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company’s operational scale is demonstrated by its recently launched 15 MWp photovoltaic power plant in Sadów, which delivers energy through a multi-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement for the factory in Poland of a multinational company.
Our participation in Lodz Airport’s centennial celebration represents more than sponsorship – it symbolizes our commitment to supporting Poland’s energy transformation across critical decarbonization sectors,” Stephane Rauber, Managing Partner at Volta Polska. ”
Just as the airport pioneered Polish aviation 100 years ago, we are pioneering renewable energy solutions for Poland’s aviation infrastructure today.
